Every Marine knows the words before they understand what they're promising.

Written in 1942 by Major General William H. Rupertus, the Rifleman's Creed isn't a slogan — it's a vow. Recited in the dark, in the mud, at attention with a weapon at port arms. It's one of the only things every Marine carries the exact same way, generation after generation.

We put it on cloth the way it deserves weathered flag, quiet Eagle Globe Anchor, no shouting. Just the words that have meant the same thing since Guadalcanal.

This one's for the riflemen who can still recite it cold, twenty years out. For the ones who don't need it explained.
